Yuecheng, formerly known as Yueh-ch'un, is a town in Yuexi County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan, China. It is located at 28.64157°N, 102.5087°E, in the southeastern part of the county. The town has a humid subtropical climate, with an average annual temperature of 16.3°C (61.3°F). Yuecheng has a long history, dating back to the Ming Dynasty. It was once an important trade center on the Silk Road. The town is home to several historical and cultural sites, including the Yuecheng Ancient City Wall, the Yuecheng Temple, and the Yuecheng Confucian Temple.
