Zemmer is a municipality in the Cochem-Zell district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated on the Moselle River, between Cochem and Zell. The climate is mild, with average temperatures ranging from 5°C in January to 18°C in July. Zemmer has a rich history, dating back to the Roman era. The town was first mentioned in a document in 893 AD. It was granted town privileges in 1332 by Emperor Louis IV. Zemmer is home to several historical buildings, including the 14th-century church of St. Martin and the 16th-century town hall.
