Torrile is a town in the province of Parma, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, located at an altitude of 38 meters (125 feet) above sea level, with a population of 7,642 as of 2018. It is situated on the right bank of the Taro River, about 10 kilometers (6 miles) southwest of Parma. The climate is humid subtropical, with hot summers and cold winters. Torrile has a long history, dating back to the Roman era, and its heritage is reflected in its many historical buildings, including the Castello di Torrile, which was built in the 14th century.
