ʻAbd al-ʻAzīz Makhyūn is an Egyptian film actor and theater director born on February 25, 1946, in Abu Hamus. He graduated from the Institute of Dramatic Arts and studied music and acting. He joined a television theater troupe and founded the Falahin Theater, where he works as a theater director. Makhyūn received a scholarship from the government to study theater in France and is recognized as a symbol of the Kefaya opposition movement. He has five children.
