ʻAbd al-Raḥmān Bisīsū (1951-) is a Palestinian writer, poet, critic, and diplomat born in Gaza. He served as Palestine's ambassador to Slovakia for several years. Known for his critical works, he authored notable titles such as 'The Mask Poem in Contemporary Arab Poetry' and 'The Concepts of Freedom by Louis Awad'. He was a founding member of the Ibn Battuta Prize for Travel Literature in 2000, aimed at promoting interest in Arabic geographical literature. Additionally, he is part of the editorial board of the London-based magazine 'Al-Jadeed'.
