ʻAbd al-Raḥmān Shihāb, also known as Abu Ahmad, was a Palestinian writer and political analyst born on July 12, 1968, in Gaza, where he lived his entire life. He specialized in Zionist affairs and founded the Atlas Research and Studies Center in 2012. Tragically, he was assassinated along with his wife, three children, mother, and 38 other family members in an airstrike by Israeli air forces on October 12, 2023, during their response to the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
