Ḥannā Abū Ḥannā was a Palestinian author, poet, and researcher born in 1928 near Nazareth, Palestine. He is considered part of the first generation of Arab resistance poets in Palestine. Abū Ḥannā served as the director of the Orthodox Arab College in Haifa until 1987 and was a lecturer at the University of Haifa from 1973. He obtained a master's degree in literature and contributed to student programs at al-Quds and the Middle East Radio. He was involved in publishing several magazines, including 'al-Jadid,' 'al-Ghad,' 'al-Mawakib,' and 'al-Mawqif.'
