A. M. Ariff is an Indian politician affiliated with the Communist Party of India (Marxist). He served as a Member of Parliament for the Alappuzha constituency from 2019 to 2024 and was a member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly for Aroor from 2006 to 2019. Notably, he defeated veteran leader K. R. Gowri Amma in the 2006 elections and has since been elected three times from Aroor. He earned recognition as the Best MLA in India in 2017, marking significant accomplishments in his political career.
