He is known for writing lyrics for numerous Bollywood films, including 'Kudiyaan Ka Hai Zamaana' (2007), 'The Unforgettable' (2009), and 'Guzaarish' (2010). Some of his famous songs include 'Aayat', 'Kabhi Jo Badal Barse', 'Tera Jikra', 'Uri', and 'Tere Liye Mere Karim'. He directed the song 'Saare Jahan Se Achha Hindustan Hamara' from the album 'We Indians'. His recent works include songs from the film 'Padmaavat'.
