Aad van Diest was a Dutch footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Hermes DVS in Schiedam throughout his career. He made his debut for the team's first squad in 1948 and was in goal when Hermes DVS won the Eerste klasse D championship in 1952. Additionally, he helped the team secure the Eerste klasse B championship during the 1955/56 season. His career ended in 1962 due to a leg fracture.
