Abass Chernor Bundu is a Sierra Leonean politician and diplomat born in 1948. He has served as the Speaker of the Sierra Leone House of Parliament since April 25, 2018, after being elected with 70 votes, despite a boycott from the main opposition party. Bundu is an influential member of the Sierra Leone People's Party and a close ally of President Julius Maada Bio. He has held various governmental roles, including as the head of ministries and as the executive secretary of ECOWAS, and holds degrees in law from prestigious universities.
