Abbas Obeid Jassem is an Iraqi football player born in 1973. He played for Al-Student and Al-Zawraa clubs and spent five seasons with Pohang Steelers in South Korea. In the 2005/2006 season, he played for Bahrain SC. Obeid represented the Iraq U20 and U23 national teams and made 28 appearances for the senior national team, scoring 8 goals. He was named the best player in Iraq in 2000.
