Abbas Zaki, born Sharif Ali Hussein Mashal on November 12, 1942, in Sa'ir, is a Palestinian politician and former representative of the Palestine Liberation Organization in Lebanon. He is a member of the Fatah Central Committee and began his political career by being elected to the Revolutionary Council in 1970. After returning to Palestine in 1995, he held several significant positions, including Deputy Commissioner General under Yasser Arafat. Zaki was elected to the Palestinian Legislative Council in 1996 and has remained active in Palestinian politics.
