Abd al-Hussein al-Salihi, also known as Abbud al-Salihi, was an Iranian-Iraqi religious historian born on January 8, 1936, in Karbala. He came from a prominent family in Iran and completed his studies with various teachers in Najaf. Al-Salihi worked as a journalist and later moved to Iran for further education. His political involvement led to his exile from Iraq to Iran in 1971, where he continued his research in Arabic and Persian. He passed away on October 15, 2014, at the age of 78.
