Abdelnaser Saleh, born on October 12, 1957, in Tulkarm, Palestine, is a prominent Palestinian poet, writer, and politician. He is a leading member of Fatah and has served as the Deputy Minister of Culture in Palestine. Saleh is a member of the Palestinian National Council and one of the founders of the General Union of Palestinian Writers and Poets. Known as the 'Poet of Freedom,' he wrote many poetic works while imprisoned in Israeli jails, earning a wide Arab presence and the title 'Prince of Rejection Poets' from Iraqi poet Abd al-Wahab Al-Bayati.
