Abdul Azeez Madani was an Indian Islamic scholar and writer born on 9 April 1950 in Kerala. He played a significant role as one of the leaders of traditional Sunni Muslims in India. Madani dedicated his life to Islamic education and scholarship, influencing many through his writings and teachings. He passed away on 14 July 2022 in Badriyya Manzil and was laid to rest in Madani Ustad Maqam, also known as Madani Dargah, located in Kunnamangalam.
