Abdullah al-Nuri (May 17, 1905 - January 17, 1981) was a Kuwaiti Muslim scholar, poet, and media figure of Iraqi origin. Born in Al-Zubair, Basra, he studied under his father and taught in Iraq before moving to Kuwait. There, he worked as a teacher, judge, inspector, and general guide for imams. He left his government job to become a lawyer and also worked as a broadcaster and television presenter. Al-Nuri published poetry and several notable works, including memoirs and writings on the Bahá'í faith. He passed away in Sydney, Australia and was buried in Kuwait.
