Abdusalom Dehoti was a prominent Persian-speaking poet and writer from Tajikistan, born on March 14, 1911, in Samarkand. He served as the president of the Union of Writers of Tajikistan. Dehoti integrated revolutionary socialist themes into Tajik poetry with works like "Response to the War Inciters" and "We Will Become Lenin's Students." He also created children's poems describing their behaviors, such as "My Little Lamb" and "The Little Bird with Loose Feathers." He collaborated with Mirza Tursunzade in staging the epic play "Khosrow and Shirin" in 1936 and the opera "The Rebellion of Vossit" in 1939.
