José Abílio de Moura Farias, known as Abílio Farias, was a Brazilian singer and songwriter born in Itacoatiara on February 23, 1946. He was celebrated for his contributions to the brega-romântico music genre and had a career spanning over 50 years. Starting in the 1960s by performing in bars and radio stations in Manaus, he gained national fame in the 1970s through his participation in the TV show 'Cantor Mascarado' and his hit songs such as 'Cabeça Oca' and 'Coração Indeciso'. He passed away in Manaus on June 14, 2013.
