Abo El Seoud El Ebiary (November 9, 1910 – March 17, 1969) was an Egyptian screenwriter, poet, and journalist. He was known for his successful partnership with the famous star Ismail Yasin, and was a prominent figure in Egyptian cinema, having written over 500 films and plays. Nicknamed the Molière of the East and the Laughing Mountain, he was celebrated for his comedic films and dialogue that captured authentic Egyptian characters. Some of his notable works include 'The 13th Wife' and 'The Harem Witch.'
