Abraham Bolwidt was a Dutch politician from the PvdA, born in Amsterdam on November 2, 1914. He served as a civil servant before becoming the municipal secretary of Oostvoorne in 1946. In 1968, he was appointed mayor of Oostvoorne. Following a municipal merger in 1980, he became the last mayor of Oostvoorne before retiring in December 1979. A monument was erected in his honor at the village square, and a street was named after him. He passed away in Apeldoorn on May 13, 1994, at the age of 79.
