Abraham J. Zelmanowitz was an American computer programmer who notably worked for Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield. On September 11, 2001, he was in the 27th floor of Tower One of the World Trade Center during the terrorist attacks. Tragically, he lost his life in the collapse of the building. His work and life were cut short by this devastating event, which deeply affected many individuals and families.
