Abrahim Simmonds is a prominent Jamaican youth activist recognized for his significant contribution to youth advocacy. He served as the 7th National Coordinator for the Governor-General’s Programme for Excellence in Jamaica from 2020 to 2023. In 2017, he received the Queen's Young Leader Award, which acknowledges exceptional young leaders across the Commonwealth. Simmonds is also a co-founder of JAYECAN, a youth advocacy group, where he previously held the position of Executive Director, promoting youth empowerment and engagement.
