Abū al-Ḥasan, Saʿīd (November 12, 1912 - 1998) was a Syrian poet, translator, journalist, and writer. Born in Sweida, he began his education in village schools and later attended the Jesuit University in Beirut, graduating in philosophy in 1936. He worked in teaching for three years and practiced law from 1943 to 1948 after obtaining a law degree. He also held the position of administrative director in the Ministry of Public Works until his retirement in 1980.
