Tan Sri Abu Zahar bin Dato' Nika Ujang is a notable Malaysian politician born on February 1, 1944. He has been the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission since May 2020 and served as the President of the Dewan Negara from April 2010 to April 2016. Abu Zahar was also a Member of Parliament for Kuala Pilah from 1995 to 1999 and was active in the State Assembly of Negeri Sembilan from 1986 to 1995. After his political career, he became the president of the Council of Former Elected Representatives.
