Adam Niswander was an American short story writer and novelist, known for his contributions to speculative fiction. He served as president of the Central Arizona Speculative Fiction Society and was a member of prominent associations such as the Horror Writers Association and the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. His first novel, The Charm, published in 1993, marks the beginning of his Shaman Cycle series. He contributed greatly to the literary community before his passing on August 12, 2012.
