Adam Peška is a Czech boccia player born on April 8, 1997, in Pardubice. Diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy at age six, he uses a wheelchair but pursued sports, particularly boccia, which he started enjoying through a family association for those with his condition. In 2021, Peška achieved his greatest success by winning a gold medal in the BC3 category at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. He graduated from a gymnasium in Hradec Králové in 2017 and has been part of the Czech national team since then.
