Adam James Scholefield, born on May 24, 1985, is a British researcher and water polo player. He has a degree in electrical engineering and a Ph.D. in image processing from Imperial College London. Standing at 1.89 meters tall and weighing 99 kilograms, he was coached by Cristian Iordache, Petik Attila, and Norman Leighton. Scholefield represented Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics, the first men's water polo team appearance since 1956. He won a gold medal in 2014 at the Commonwealth Water Polo Championships in Aberdeen.
