Adly Mansour is an Egyptian jurist who served as the interim president of Egypt following the ousting of President Mohamed Morsi in 2013. He was previously the President of the Supreme Constitutional Court, having been appointed in 2013. Mansour's presidency followed significant public protests and military intervention, which led to the suspension of the 2012 constitution. He took office as president mere minutes after being sworn in as head of the court. Mansour has received several honors including the Nile Collar and the Republic Medal of the first class.
