Adolf Winkler, also known as Ramadolf, is a Togolese jazz musician born on March 29, 1939, in Lomé. Primarily a trombonist, he is also skilled in composition, arrangement, balaphon, and percussion. He migrated to Paris in 1965 and has lived there since, with a stay in London from 1968 to 1970. Winkler played with notable groups like Ray Stephen Oche's Matumbo Orchestra and François Tusques' Intercommunal Free Dance Music Orchestra during the 1970s and early 1980s. He has recorded numerous albums with various artists and has been active in the jazz scene.
