In 2009, he secured a gold medal at the Polish Championships and was a vice-champion in 2007. He represented Poland at the World Championships in Berlin in 2009 but did not advance to the finals with a throw of 74.13 meters. His personal best is 84.85 meters, achieved on August 1, 2009, which ranks as the sixth-best in Polish javelin history.
