Adrian Romcescu is a Romanian pop music singer and composer, born in 1956. He studied violin but was drawn to popular music. He won the Romanian Composers' Association prize at 17 and has participated in the Mamaia music festival numerous times as a singer and composer. He toured Scandinavia with the band Sfinx in the 1980s. Romcescu composed famous songs that won awards, including for artist Mălina Olinescu. After living in Denmark for many years, he returned to Romania in 2013, where he now teaches music.
