Adrien André Maria Cimichella was a Canadian Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop born on February 21, 1921, in Grotte Santo Stefano, Italy. He moved to Canada during childhood and became a priest in the Servite order in 1945. From 1946 to 1955, he served as the provincial secretary for the Servites in Winnipeg. He was appointed auxillary bishop of Montréal by Pope Paul VI in 1964. Cimichella participated in the Fourth Session of the Second Vatican Council and retired on April 25, 1996, which was accepted by Pope John Paul II. He passed away on July 21, 2004.
