Agnes Fabianek, born Anna Fabianek on February 18, 1941, was an Austrian Cistercian nun who became the youngest abbess in the Roman Catholic Church at age 27. She joined the Mariastern-Gwiggen monastery in 1962 and served as abbess until 2005. In 1974, she founded the Marienfeld monastery. After her retirement, she led the Helfta monastery from 2009 until her death on January 18, 2015. Throughout her life, she contributed to the history of Cistercian communities and was an influential figure in ecclesiastical leadership.
