Agnieszka Anna Hałas is a Polish fantasy author born on December 31, 1980, in Lublin. She holds a degree in molecular biology and is known for her dark fairy tale style stories, as well as poetry. Hałas created the Polish dark fantasy series 'Teatr węży,' focusing on the tales of the black mage Krzyczący w Ciemności and the conflict between black and silver magicians. Since 1996, she has been a member of the Lublin Fantasy Club 'Syriusz' and completed her doctoral studies at the Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum in Heidelberg.
