Agus Basri (born December 5, 1956) is a senior journalist and the founder and conceptualizer of GATRA magazine. He served as the Executive Editor of Gatra from 1994 to 1998 and held various editorial roles in other magazines and tabloids. Additionally, he has been an expert staff member in the MPR RI and served as the editor of multiple publications over the years. Basri has also contributed to the Islamic community as the Chairman of the Sharia Council at Masjid Darussalam from 2006 to 2019.
