Ahmad al-Mustanbit, also known as Ahmad bin Razi al-Mousawi al-Tabrizi, was an Iranian-Iraqi theologian and hadith scholar born on May 24, 1907. He was known for his profound contributions to Ja'fari jurisprudence and literature on the Twelve Imams. He hailed from a Shiite family originally of Arab Hashimi descent and was educated in Tabriz and Najaf, studying under notable scholars including Hussein al-Naini and Abu al-Qasim al-Khoi. He passed away on May 31, 1979, in Najaf, where he was buried in the Ali Shrine.
