Ahmad Yusuf Daoud is a Syrian poet and novelist, born on December 26, 1945, in Nakhlah, near Tartus. He studied at the Teacher's Institute in Homs and graduated before attending the University of Damascus, earning a degree in Arabic Language in 1970. Daoud worked in various educational roles and later in Syrian television and journalism. He contributed as an editor for the Lebanese magazine Al-Kifah Al-Arabi. With numerous poetry collections, novels, and research works to his name, he retired in 2004.
