Ahmed Dlimi (January 17, 1931 – January 25, 1983) was a Moroccan general during King Hassan II's reign. After the failed coup attempt led by General Mohamed Oufkir, Dlimi became one of Morocco's most powerful figures alongside Interior Minister Idriss El Bassiri. He gained prominence during the first Moroccan Sahara War as a field commander for the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces. Dlimi's mysterious death in a car accident in 1983 sparked rumors of foul play, suggesting he may have been killed due to his growing power, potentially threatening the monarchy.
