Ahmed Javed, born on January 2, 1956, is a retired Indian police officer and civil servant who served as the 39th Commissioner of Police in Mumbai. Notably, he is also a former Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and the second former Mumbai police commissioner to hold a diplomatic position, following J. F. Ribeiro's tenure as ambassador to Romania from 1989 to 1993. Javed's distinguished career reflects significant contributions to both law enforcement and diplomacy.
