Ahmed Mohammed Amer (May 3, 1927 - February 20, 2016) was an Egyptian Quran reciter known for his prominent contributions to this field. He was born in the village of Al-Asakirah in the Sharqia Governorate. He memorized the Quran by the age of eleven and later learned recitations under Sheikh Abdul Salam Al-Shahbasi. By the age of thirteen, he mastered Quranic rules and the seven recitations, receiving numerous international awards and honors.
