Ahmed Mounib (January 4, 1926 - February 27, 1990) was a celebrated Egyptian Nubian singer and composer. Recognized as a pioneer of Nubian music, he gained fame as an oud player in the early 1950s. His career began in 1954 with the establishment of the Nile Valley Radio, where he presented numerous Nubian folk songs. He collaborated with poet Mohi El-Din Sharif to create modern Nubian songs, reflecting the social practices of Nubian people. Many singers, including Mohamed Mounir and Mohamed Fouad, were mentored by him.
