Ashot Ivani Minassian (January 15, 1911 - September 5, 1978) was an Armenian agronomist and microbiologist born in Shikahogh, Armenia. He obtained a doctorate in biological sciences in 1970 and played significant roles in various agricultural research institutes in the Armenian SSR. Minassian's work primarily focused on soil microbiology, the development of marginal lands around Lake Sevan, and advancements in horticulture and viticulture in Armenia.
