Aída García Naranjo is a notable Peruvian educator, singer, and politician, recognized for her significant roles in government. Born on March 20, 1951, she served as the first Minister of Women and Social Development under President Ollanta Humala's administration. In addition, she has held the position of Secretary General of the Socialist Party and was a spokesperson for Gana Perú. García Naranjo also served as the ambassador of Peru to Uruguay from January 2012 to June 2014, and has represented Peru in Mercosur and the Latin American Integration Association since February 2012.
