Chaudhary Ajit Singh (12 February 1939 – 6 May 2021) was an influential Indian farmer leader and politician, known for founding and leading the Rashtriya Lok Dal, a prominent political party in Uttar Pradesh. He was the son of former Indian Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. Ajit Singh's political career was marked by his advocacy for farmers' rights and welfare. Tragically, he tested positive for COVID-19, leading to hospitalization, and he passed away on 6 May 2021 due to health complications.
