Kiernan Jordan Forbes, known as AKA, was a South African music artist and rapper born on January 28, 1988, in Cape Town. He gained fame with his debut single "Victory Lap" from his first studio album, Altar Ego (2010). AKA continued his success with subsequent albums like Levels (2014), Touch My Blood (2018), and Bhovamania (2020), as well as a collaborative album with Anatii titled Be Careful What You Wish For (2017). He was unfortunately shot dead outside a restaurant in Durban on February 10, 2023.
