Akiko Miyawaki is a Japanese manga artist born on November 26, 1958, in Mihara, Hiroshima Prefecture. She is best known for her work 'Janus no Kagami', which was adapted into a television drama. Miyawaki is a female artist and was a classmate of fellow manga artist Katsumi Michihara in elementary school. In 2009, she was appointed as a local ambassador for her hometown, Mihara City, Hiroshima.
