Akio Nishida (December 7, 1946 - February 6, 2009) was an automata artist from Akashi, Hyogo Prefecture. He served as the first director of both the Contemporary Toy Museum in Mimasaka and the Arima Toy Museum in Kobe. He is known for his contributions to the field of automata and toy making. His son, Nishida E, is also an illustrator, continuing the family's artistic legacy.
