Akira Okano (岡野 晶, 1966年12月30日 - ) is a local writer, musician, and radio personality active primarily in the Kansai region of Japan. Since 2003, he has also become known for voicing Raion-chan, the mascot character for Mainichi Broadcasting System. He is originally from Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, and is married. Okano is noted for his contributions to local culture through his writing and radio work.
