Alan Dipode, born on March 13, 1955, in Paris, is a Breton artist, writer, and illustrator. He moved to Montroulez at the age of 25, where he began learning Breton at Skol Ober in 1983. He completed his studies in 1986 and worked extensively with Embannadurioù an Here, creating and illustrating numerous books. Dipode has also contributed illustrations and stories for children's publications, such as Cholori, and served as the editor of the newspaper Talabao. He currently resides in Brieg and is the father of Voran Dipode.
